• The BC Culinary Tourism Society (BCCTS) is the information hub and responsible body for culinary tourism within BC
• Culinary tourism is an economic driver that helps sell BC as an attractive tourist destination, encourages increased tourist spending and repeat visits, provides restaurants with a point of distinction to increase sales, and generates demand for locally grown/raised/caught or processed food and beverage products.
• The BCCTS encourages research and development of culinary tourism products within BC
• The BCCTS identifies, inspects, certifies and promotes a variety of exemplary cuisine experiences within BC at all price points.
